Week 78 - Glad Midsommer!

Wow! What a crazy week!
So much happened. Don't even know where to start. This past Wednesday was transfers! And I got shipped out of Stockholm back to Jönköping. Pretty weird to say bye to a place and people you have been with for the past 6 months. I love Stockholm. Now I am here in Jönköping and it is just as good as I remember it. :) my comp is elder Tingey and he is a boss. :) Elder Domino actually trained him! Other highlights, president told us he wants everyone to be doing district meetings over Skype so this last week was the first time and it actually went pretty well! Little different. But it was good. :) we had a mid summer fest on Friday which was way fun. That involved dancing around a pole while singing children's songs and lots of food. :) we had a few member meals they were a little surprised and excited to see me again. :) well the ones that remembered me. Hahah we played basketball with the ward. Sweden played Germany in the world cup and lost.. 2-1 put up a good fight though. Funny story about that, we were waiting for a bus(during the game) and all of the sudden the whole neighborhood, all at once, started screaming cheering and jumping around. Hahah it was so funny so I assume that's when Sweden scored their goal. Haha anyways. Also got some good finding time, but other than that, pretty normal week!

So this past Thursday was my birthday, pretty crazy I'm already 20.. But we were meeting one of our investigators named Iragi. He is from the Congo! Super bro. We get over to his house and he had made us food! Way sick. So we dit down to eat and he says I hope you like cow tongue.. Haha I've never had it before so let's do it! And it was actually way good! Iragi said it is his favorite food. He was pretty excited to hear he was the first one to feed it to me AND on my 20th birthday. :)

Yesterday, my companion and I taught Sunday school! We talked about obedience and why it is important. I read the story of Naaman in 2 kings 5. This is the story of the king who had leprosy. He went to the the prophet and he told Naaham to bath in the Jordan River 7 times and he will be healed. It says Naaman was "wroth" haha but he did as he was told and he was healed. I think of the amazing obedience and humility it much had taken for Naaman to do that. Of course I have the faith to do something big to be healed. But do I have the faith to do something very simple, almost too simple, to be healed? The prophets nowadays have told us to read the Book of Mormon everyday! And if we follow this simple act of humble obedience to show God we want to learn, he will give us the knowledge we need to continue. :)

Sorry little short this week, but I may or my not have more next week. :) haha hope y'all have a great week. And enjoy the good summer weather it will be gone before you know it. ;) keep the faith!!

Love,
Elder Baggett
