Week 56 - Stockholm

Hey guys! 
Hey first off, just want to say sorry about last week, it was a super crazy Pday and it just did not work for me to get an email off. So this one will be good I promise. :) a ton has happened the past two weeks. First, I have been transferred to Stockholm which I'm sure my wonder mother already informed you about. :) it feels good to be back honestly. We have been super busy with teaching lessons to investigators, less-actives, recent converts, you name it, we did it. :) Some random happenings, we got a call from the missionaries in another ward saying they need help being Paul bearers. So we said yes but come to find out there was no funeral this guy just needed help burying his dad. It was really sad, but cool to be a part of. :)  We were able to do the Book of Mormon musical again which was awesome!! I will talk about that later. :) We also went to institute which was super fun! I met lots of new peeps and talked with people I knew so that was fun! We didn't have ton of time for finding this week which is kinda sad, but awesome because we are so busy! I love being in the city and seeing the sights on a daily basis. So cool. :) 

Cool experience from this week, so the sisters in our area have this couple that they have been teaching who will be baptized this Saturday!!!! But they have had a few really big questions come up and it just so happened that some some the biggest commandments for left to the end. So they were really nervous for their lesson. They asked the district if we could fast and pray for them and their investigators. So we did! After the lesson they called us and were crazy excited! They said the questions that they had they answered through prayer and reading on their own. And that they already knew about some of the commandments that they had planned on teaching. It was just a confirmation of my testimony of fasting and prayer. I know it works and that it how we can see miracles and show our faith in Christ. :) 

As a spiritual thought this week, so we were at the Book of Mormon musical to pass out books and it was late on a Saturday night like 10:30! e got to stay out late. ) haha but right next to the theater is a massive bar and they were have a great Gatsby theme night. So everyone was dressed up in nice clothes and drinking and "having a good time" and as we walked by I thought about Lehi's dream of the Tree of Life. And as we walked away I got this super strong feeling of happiness and I thought to myself, " they're not really happy" and I looked down at the Book of Mormon in my hand and thought, "I am truly happy!" I am so thankful for the Book of Mormon and for the church and for the happiness and peace that it brings me. :) take some time this week to read Lehi's vision in 1 Nephi 8 and ponder how you can better hold fast to the iron rod. :)
