Week 93 - Amazing week!

Hello everyone!
Hope you have all had a pleasant week! Our week here was AMAZING! We have been spiritually nourished up to our nostrils and little worn out after it, but that's what we have p- day for! To rejuvenate to do it all over again. :) well let's hit some highlights! We had 3 lessons and a member meal early in the week as well as some good finding time in there. On Thursday evening we took a 2 hour train up to a city called Örnsköldsvik! We stayed the night with the elders there and we made some bomb spring rolls :) we got up at 05.30 to work out and hit the road for another hour drive up to Umeå for zone conference!! Such an awesome conference. :) learned so so much and made some sweet goals to apply to our area. We took at 3 hour train ride home that night. Saturday! We had soccer, finding and GENERAL CONFERENCE! Wasn't it so cool?!? I loved it. Learned so much. Then Sunday, we got to the church at 10.30 and left at 8.30. Long day I tell ya. But it was amazing. :) so that was out week! Excited for another!

Cool experience from this week. We stopped this fellow on the street and did an "American quiz" we has pictures of famous people from America and we asked if they knew who they were. The last one was Joseph Smith. Really fun way to talk to people! Anyways. We get talking, and we see that he has a cross on and we asked him if he believes in Jesus Christ and he was hesitant and he said no. He said he is in a support group and when they meet they talk a lot about Christ and such. He said he wants to believe but doesn't know how. So we said well buddy...that's what we're here for! :) we talked about what we do as missionaries and by the end he was asking to meet us!! So cool. I love to see how the Lord prepares so many people. And we never know who they are, but they need us and we need to find them. :) we're excited to meet him this upcoming week!

During general conference, there was a talk that I really loved. Well they were all amazing. But! Elder Rasband's talk about fear and overcoming that really hit me. He said something along the lines of open your spiritual eyes! There are more with us than are with them. We are not alone in this work! There are so many people seen and unseen that are cheering us on. :) Keep doing what you know to be right and the lord will bless you! I can promise you that. :)

Sorry, I know really really short this week, but it's kind been a crazy day. Haha so I hope y'all have a good week! Hear from me next week. :) Keep the Faith!!

Love,
Elder Baggett
