Week 18 - Too busy to write

So, we got an email from Charlie on Monday morning...
Hey mom! sorry, I don't have any time to do a group email now. I might get on a little later and do one.  I don't know. If not tell everyone I'm not dead and the church is still true! haha Love you. Have a good week

Charlie also sends us a voice recording each week.  So, I took a few things from that recording for the week.

Hi Mom Hi Dad. How are things going back at home? Everything is just fantastic here, I love it. So this week obviously was transfers I got rid of Elder Neilson. Just kidding. I love Elder Neilson!  He is awesome! He got transferred and he didn't go far. He moved about 20 minutes north. Not even that. Actually about 15 minutes north. He got on the train and he's in Gubbängsvägen and I haven't talked to him since then but I'm sure he's doing well. I got Elder Chugg he's my buddy. He's dope. He's from Ogden. Well Far West right next to Ogden. He's a great Elder. He goes home in seven weeks at the end of this transfer more or less. Six weeks now.  In our district we have 3 people this transfer. Elder Chugg, Elder Payne which is the Zone leader in Handen and Elder Cox and he's on Visby. All three of them will be going home this transfer just kind of crazy. Last P Day we went to Stockholm with the zone because it was the last PDay with most of those elders. We went to Drottninggatan where the attack happened. There is a staircase there and it's covered with flowers it is super cool. Right where they crashed into the building at the end they put plywood over it, obviously because they broke glass and people started writing all over the plywood and putting sticky notes up and putting flowers. It was pretty cool to see.

We met this guy named Pierre on the street and he had a grocery sack with like 12 beers in it. And Elder Chugg said this guy needs the gospel so we went to go talk to him. We got his number and then thinking he wouldn't want to meet again we call them that night but he called us later that night and so we called him back and we're like hey do you want to meet with us and he's like yeah let's meet tomorrow. But he ended up not coming we called him and he was drunk. So yeah.

Friday just a normal day lots of contacting some weekly planning. Saturday we did service for this family that's moving out. The house that they lived in there's like this little cul-da-sac right next to the lake and these are the nicest houses biggest Swedish houses I've ever seen. Usually Swedish house aren’t very big but the house that they live in is probably about the size of our house. It's huge. So the upstairs was rented out to this family that was moving out. Good Times helping them move everything. Sunday we met with the Västerhaninge ward again. So there was like four hundred people here. It was kind of crazy. Then we went to Stake Choir and it was super awesome we sang “This is the Christ” and “Homeward Bound” in Swedish. It was so cool. We have stake Conference next week so we're going to sing in it next week.

That’s pretty much all I have this week everything's going well the church is still true. Hope you have a good week I'll talk to you next. Love you bye

Week 17 - I hate subject lines

Hey friends and family!
Hope everything is going well! This week was one for the books for sure! Like I said last week, we were on Gotland! It was a blast. Saw some cool places and explored a bit. We also took some fun pictures. :) So that was really fun! Then on Tuesday, we were able to do some service at the Temple and plant flowers! That was super fun! All the missionaries in our zone were there and we planed 4,000 flowers! Crazy! Honestly, I don't really remember what else we did this week. So, I wont bore you with that. haha

This weekend as you all know, was Easter! This time of the year is probably on of my favorites! The weather is getting warmer, everyone just seems to be happier! :) Every Easter and Christmas, the Church comes out with an initiative. This year it was #PrinceOfPeace I really enjoyed being able to use it in our finding and teaching. It's so amazing when you're on a busy street, people running around and you find one person to show it to. At the end of the video, it says, "He is Jesus Christ" and the spirit comes so strong! Really cool how as soon as you talk about Christ, the Spirit comes more than it would talking about anything else! If you have not seen that video, I encourage you to take 2 minutes and check it out.

This week, we have met a few different people from different religions, and I am just coming to realize how truly lucky we are to have the fullness of Jesus Christ's Gospel! It really can bring peace in a troubled world.

This week I was reading in Ether. About the Brother of Jared. I learned a lot about how prayer works from that chapter. The Lord will not just spoon feed us with what we ask for, but we have to take everything we have to the Lord, we must do everything we can do first, then ask the Lord if He can give a little extra help. So this week, I invite you all to take all you have to the Lord before you ask. I know that if you do you will be blessed. :)

Love you all, and hope you have a fantastic week and don't forget to Keep the Faith!
